Colorado Quilting Celebrations Box

We are so pleased with the success of the Colorado Quilting Celebrations Box for Cheryl Phillips. We only have one left! Don't be left out. Snag that last one before they are gone for good.

Plans for the next box are already in the works. The next Colorado artist to introduce you to is Kris Holderness. Kris has been a pattern designer for numerous years. She self published her patterns under Black Cat Creations. She now publishes patterns for Owl's Nest Quilters and sells them exclusively through us. Kris designed several patterns for our exclusive custom batiks.

Kris has also authored two quilting books: Quilting by Nature and Quilting Colorado, both of which have great patterns reflecting the beauty of Colorado.

Kris also designed a special mystery quilt pattern for the March 2022 retreat at the Wine Country Inn in Palisade. In addition, she has designed a special pattern for our celebrations box. The design for a table runner is uniquely Kris and uniquely Colorado!

Kris' Colorado Quilting Celebrations box will hit the market in late May/early June. Like Cheryl's box, there is a limited number of boxes. Get yours while supplies last. This one is a great introduction to Kris and her very distinctive style of quilting/designing.

Included in the box will be the pattern, fabric to complete the top, the special Bloc Loc ruler you will need (also a Colorado company), and a special treat or two. Be on the lookout for emails and social media posts telling you the box is available.

Right now, we know you will enjoy your introduction to Kris's work. Get to know her now. She is an up and coming designer! She is getting two of her designs published in The Quilt Pattern Magazine, an online magazine for all things quilting. The patterns should be published toward the end of the year. You may just get to say, "I knew her when," with this artist!

After Kris will be a box from a Milliken-based company that is extremely unique in this artist's contributions to the quilting community. More on that later.....
