Colorado Quilting Celebrations Box

Join Owl's Nest Quilters in our celebration of Colorado quilters! I have been researching Colorado quilters, designers, and fiber artists for the past two years or so, and I'm in awe of the talent our state holds. We have so many artists right here in our midst brimming with talent and exploring varied styles and techniques. It has been so much fun to see all that our state has to offer the greater quilting community.

Each quarter, you can purchase a box full of goodies to complete a project from a local Colorado artist. Our Colorado Quilting Celebrations box will contain the project pattern, fabric, and any necessary specialized tools to complete the project. In addition, you will be surprised with some little goodies that we think you might enjoy. You will also get information about the Colorado artist or company and how they got started, where they've been, and where they are going.

Each box is sold and priced individually. It isn't a subscription plan. This way you have the option to purchase the mystery box or not. But keep in mind, we are only making a limited number, so you don't want to miss out by passing up even a single box.

The projects are small and easily completed in a day or two. Our goal is to introduce, not overwhelm. We want you to get the feel for the techniques these artists employ without making a huge commitment with a large project. If you get hooked, each of the artists has more projects that you can explore.

Our first two boxes (March and June) celebrate two of our local artists. We just love that some of the state's talent lives right here in the Grand Valley and frequents the shop. We get to see what new ideas are brewing in their brains and be a part of the fabric selections and design choices.

The second two boxes (September and December) will expand further out into the state going up to the Northeast and over to the East.

March 1st marks the launch of our first Colorado Quilting Celebrations box. Watch for emails, Facebook and Instagram posts, and shop displays and samples.

We believe that this is going to be a great exploration into different quilting techniques and styles that will broaden your horizons and quilting skills, while introducing you to what Colorado has to offer the quilting world.
