America's Got Talent move aside. We have talent galore at Owl's Nest Quilters, and we want you to share that talent!
Periodically, we will host our ONQs' Got Talent celebration. This is the time for you to share what you are working on, what you have completed, tips and tricks you want to share with others, and just socialize with one another.
We've missed our get-togethers since the pandemic began. We want to bring those get-togethers back in a fresh, new way. This will be your time to shine and show us what talent(s) you have.
ONQs' Got Talent will usually follow a Trunk Show. Trunk Show programs will begin at 2:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. From 5-6 p.m., we will have a potluck dinner. Bring a dish to share. Then from 6:00 p.m. to whenever, we will share our talents and each other's accomplishments.
Our Meet & Greet/Trunk Shows are intended to provide you with an opportunity to meet and get to know a new artist who will teaching a class for us for the first time. Tana LaDuke and Beverly Hart started us off with a great program in January explaining some of their processes for designing and imagining an art quilt. Their class on designing an art quilt is scheduled for March xx.
Our next Meet & Greet/Trunk Show will introduce you to Melody Maskus. Melody's program will begin at 2:00 p.m. on March xx. Following her program, we will eat a light dinner and then go into our ONQs' Got Talent program. Melody's Vintage Linen Quilts class is scheduled for April xx.
Keep an eye out for other Meet & Greets throughout the year. We have several other surprises in store for you as we strive to bring you new and exciting artists, techniques, and styles of quilting to keep you inspired and creating.
